Winter Warmer-Upper

When the weather cools down a bit, it's nice to have a little something to warm up.  We thought, what are the flavors that sum up the holiday season? ...and what would ensure that Santa hooks us up?

Enter the Spicy Blizzard.

The flavors of fall are all represented:  a little sweet from honey, cranberry, ginger, and a little lemon...plus, no season is complete without bourbon.

Tools:
Shaker, strainerdouble old-fashioned glass1 oz./½ oz. jigger, Whiskey Ice Co. Spherical Ice Ball Maker

Ingredients:
2 ounces bourbon like Willet
¾ ounces all natural Honey Ginger Syrup
¾ ounces lemon juice
½ all natural cranberry juice cocktail like Simply Cranberry
1 ice ball from your Whiskey Ice Co. Spherical Ice Ball Maker
Strip of lemon peel for garnish

Step 1:  Pour the liquid ingredients into a shaker with some ice cubes, and shake for about 25 to 30 seconds (which, as you know is about the length of time it takes to form an ice ball with the spherical ice ball maker).

Step 2: Place your ice ball into your double old-fashioned glass and strain whiskey mixture over top.

Step 3: To garnish, squeeze lemon a twist over cocktail to release oils into the glass.

You now have a guaranteed treat that Santa will remember, naughty or nice.

Enjoy responsibly this season.

Cheers
